Bowdoin College, one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious liberal arts colleges, retained Next Generation to recruit a creative and collaborative leader to serve as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Reporting to the President of the College, the new CIO facilitates all aspects of information technology strategy, fosters innovation, and facilitates conversations to create a vision that defines Bowdoin’s digital future in teaching, scholarship, constituent engagement, and operations. Through this executive search strategy, Bowdoin sought a visionary leader to work with the faculty to define the role of technology in the liberal arts education of the future.
